Entertainment Roundup: Davido says 10,500 people attended his #30BillionConcert; "The shirt Wizkid wore for his concert is brighter than Oritsefemi's future"

Catch up on everything you missed in entertainment yesterday and others that unraveled while you slept – and are still buzzing this Friday morning.

Davido says 10,500 people attended his #30BillionConcert

It appears Davido has made concert history in Nigeria and the recently released numbers stand as proof.

The singer tweeted that over 10,000 people turned out for his #30BillionConcert that held at Eko Hotel & Suites, a number that has never been recorded at that venue.

Considering a lot of people were unable to get tickets to the soldout event, Davido has promised a larger venue for the 2018 edition of his concert.

Ric Hassani was in a car accident but he’s not badly injured

Singer Ric Hassani was reported to have been involved in a dreadful car accident in the early hours of Wednesday in Lekki, Lagos.

Hassani was heading home after performing at an event when his car was hit by a reckless driver, leaving his car seriously damaged.

The ‘Gentleman’ singer was left with minor injuries to his shoulder, knee and arm and has said he is “shaken by the incident” but thankful.

Oritsefemi falls victim of social media savagery

And maybe it’s well deserved…

The ‘Double Wahala’ singer invited the wrath of Twitter and Instagram users after he derided recently held music concerts, asserting that his wedding ceremony which held in November was more popular than all the concerts.

Considering the singer sent out the tweets at the time Davido’s #30BillionConcert was the biggest Twitter trend, fans were quick to catch the sub and they got into full attack mode:

Oritsefemi got major attention, only it’s not the type he may have hoped for when he sent out those tweets.

Entertainment: How Davido Chased 2Face Off The Stage During His 30 Billion Concert Because He Was Drunk (Photos + Video)

The 30 Billion concert yesterday certainly had some major highlights that virtually everyone who’s heard about or first hand saw the event, can’t get enough of!

From tickets being sold out to VIPs being ambushed by regulars, depriving them of the expected comfort they were suppose to have while enjoying the show.

One major highlight that has since been raving on social media is that of Nigerian music mogul, 2Baba performing OBVIOUSLY drunk on stage.

The music legend according to many came to the stage already very drunk and could barely coordinate himself properly – in a video shared by Goldmyne, the singer seems high but it can’t be said for sure but it’s just that the host, Davido seemed to be in a hurry to rush him off the stage before an irreparable damage was done on that stage.

After singing some of his major hits half way, the African Queen crooner was more interested in being an orator and it was at this point that Davido prostrated to him – a move which according to the people, meant “Don’t destroy my career”.

It’s no news that the music mogul is loved by many and can be easily forgiven for anything and from the reactions from his fans online, his fans are only finding it funny and not annoying!

NEWS: Man, 45, arrested with skull of his late brother who died 7 years ago

- A Ugandan man has been nabbed with skull of his late brother who reportedly passed away some seven years ago

- Mwamadhi Isiko was caught on the night of Saturday, December 23, at the graveyard where he had exhumed remains of his brother Mweru Hamuza

- When hard pressed to explain what he was going to do the skull, the suspect claimed he had been asked by a witchdoctor to hand over the remains in exchange for Sh 40,000

A 45-year-old Uganda man was on Saturday, December 23, arrested with skull of his late brother who passed away about seven years ago.

The suspect, identified as Mwamadhi Isiko from Buwolomera village in Nawaningi Sub-county, was nabbed at mid-night by a group of locals on patrol.

According to a local official, Moses Kitinyo, Isiko was found busy exhuming remains of his departed brother, Mweru Hamuza, and had gotten hold of the skull.

The suspect, Kitinyo said, had returned to the village recently after disappearing for two years. He had allegedly gone to become a witchdoctor.

When pressed to disclose what he was going to do with the skull, Isiko reportedly said he had been asked by a doctor to take the remains in exchange for Sh 40,000.

The incident angered villagers and area officials who demanded that action be taken against Isiko and all traditional healers who had resorted to exhuming bodies to use in their unholy rituals.

Nawaningi sub-county chairman, Maganda Ayub, asked the government to pounce on the notorious witchdoctors by putting in place tough laws that will restrict their ungodly activities.

In their defense, vice chair of the witchdoctors, Jamida Mutesa, distanced themselves from the claims that they were exhuming bodies of dead relatives for rituals.

"The suspect claiming to be a traditional healer is fake. The public should report such individuals to the police," Mutesa said as quoted by Daily Monitor.

Isiko is reportedly being held at Bunyiro police station.
