BREAKING: Adeniran Walks Out Of PDP Convention, Rejects Electoral Process

Ahead of the announcement of results at the ongoing elective national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, one of the National Chairmanship candidates, Professor Tunde Adeniran, has rejected the whole electoral process.

He denounced the electoral process, describing it as fraudulent and unfair.

The director of publicity to Adeniran, Mr Taiwo Akeju, told journalists at the Eagle Square in the nation’s capital, Abuja, where the convention is being held that his principal is against the use of a unity list, which he claims was used to rig the process.

Mr Akeju accused the governors of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and his Ekiti State counterpart, Mr Ayodele Fayose, of influencing the process illegally and called for the cancellation of the election.

He said, “We reject the entire electoral process of December 9, 2017. The election has been grossly compromised to achieve a predetermined end in line with the illegal Unity List prepared by Governor Wike and…

Young Couple Gets Engaged Only Hours Before They Find Themselves Fighting Fire At Liquor Store littlethings.com Dec 8, 2017 10:54 PM

Lucas Mayne and his fiancée are no doubt busy planning their wedding, and they have one great story to tell about the night they got engaged. I mean, how many engagements do you know that end up in a raging fire?

It all began on an evening when Lucas surprised his then-girlfriend with an engagement ring over a romantic dinner.

Afterwards, the newly-engaged couple were driving home when Lucas’ fiancée spotted a fire inside a liquor store.

She quickly turned to Lucas.

“She looked at me and said, ‘You have to go to that, don’t you?” And I said, ‘Yeah, I can’t not,'” Lucas recalled.

You see, Lucas is a volunteer firefighter and a passionate one at that, so when he saw the fire in the liquor store he knew he had to take action.

He ran to a nearby station, got inside an engine, and went back to the liquor store to put the blaze out.

His fiancée got out of the car and handled crowd control while Lucas went to work.

The other firemen arrived shortly afterwards and together they put out the blaze. Thanks to Lucas though, they were able to handle the fire fast enough so that it didn’t overtake the whole building.

An engagement and a fight with a fire — all in a night’s work!

Colourful Groom: 4 Unforgettable Wedding Trends Set by Grooms in 2017

Once upon-a-time, the groom was relegated to the wedding sidelines, with little or no option regarding his style, talk less having a slice of the wedding spotlight. This truly was the bride’s tuff, a no go area. The traditional groom reigned supreme. It was either a black, grey or blue tux.
This is no longer the case. We see more and more grooms playing an active hands-on role in their wedding. From unique style expressions, showcasing their personality to cheeky and affectionate display of wedding shenanigans.
Last year, 2016, we saw the emergence of the Groom-in-Colour; a lot of grooms embracing unconventional colour choices. Here we are, 1 year later, 2017, the modern groom revolution has come a long way.
In no particular order, 2017 groom trends that truly stroke a chord:
1. The Community of Friends
If twos a company and threes a crowd, what are four and five? Grooms this year took the whole idea of committee of friends to a galactic level. Little need to cherry-pick your squad, when you can enlist all your friends: the good, the bad and the ugly.

2. The Cultural Twist
When going for the perfect groom look, 2017 showed that you don’t always have to stick to the classic or predictable stereotypical look. The fashion tables are turning, cultural infusion or paying an ode to one’s root is becoming a common sight.

3. The Best Woman
Who says you can’t have a best woman? Although it’s tradition that the groom is supported by a best man, in 2017, we’ve seen a lot of groom break away with this tradition, opting for a best woman.

4. The Minimalist Groom
It’s simple and usually very budget-friendly. In 2017, we’ve seen a lot of grooms relax the rules of formality by taking a minimalist approach to their formalwear and that of their groomsmen.

The Bible Already Talked About Donald Trump In Isaiah 45 And His Recognition of Jerusalem As The Capital of Israel Is A Fulfillment of God’s Prophecy Says Femi Fani-Kayode

Isaiah 45New International Version (NIV)

45 “This is what the Lord says to his anointed,
to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of
to subdue nations before him
and to strip kings of their armor,
to open doors before him
so that gates will not be shut:
2 I will go before you
and will level the mountains[a];
I will break down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron.
3 I will give you hidden treasures,
riches stored in secret places,
so that you may know that I am the Lord,
the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
4 For the sake of Jacob my servant,
of Israel my chosen,
I summon you by name
and bestow on you a title of honor,
though you do not acknowledge me.
5 I am the Lord, and there is no other;
apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
though you have not acknowledged me,
6 so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting
people may know there is none besides me.
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
7 I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the Lord, do all these things.
8 “You heavens above, rain down my righteousness;
let the clouds shower it down.
Let the earth open wide,
let salvation spring up,
let righteousness flourish with it;
I, the Lord, have created it.
9 “Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker,
those who are nothing but potsherds
among the potsherds on the ground.
Does the clay say to the potter,
‘What are you making?’
Does your work say,
‘The potter has no hands’?
10 Woe to the one who says to a father,
‘What have you begotten?’
or to a mother,
‘What have you brought to birth?’
11 “This is what the Lord says—
the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
Concerning things to come,
do you question me about my children,
or give me orders about the work of my hands?
12 It is I who made the earth
and created mankind on it.
My own hands stretched out the heavens;
I marshaled their starry hosts.
13 I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness:
I will make all his ways straight.
He will rebuild my city
and set my exiles free,
but not for a price or reward,
says the Lord Almighty.”
14 This is what the Lord says:
“The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush,
and those tall Sabeans—
they will come over to you
and will be yours;
they will trudge behind you,
coming over to you in chains.
They will bow down before you
and plead with you, saying,
‘Surely God is with you, and there is no other;
there is no other god.’”
15 Truly you are a God who has been hiding himself,
the God and Savior of Israel.
16 All the makers of idols will be put to shame and disgraced;
they will go off into disgrace together.
17 But Israel will be saved by the Lord
with an everlasting salvation;
you will never be put to shame or disgraced,
to ages everlasting.
18 For this is what the Lord says—
he who created the heavens,
he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth,
he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty,
but formed it to be inhabited—
he says:
“I am the Lord,
and there is no other.
19 I have not spoken in secret,
from somewhere in a land of darkness;
I have not said to Jacob’s descendants,
‘Seek me in vain.’
I, the Lord, speak the truth;
I declare what is right.
20 “Gather together and come;
assemble, you fugitives from the nations.
Ignorant are those who carry about idols of wood,
who pray to gods that cannot save.
21 Declare what is to be, present it—
let them take counsel together.
Who foretold this long ago,
who declared it from the distant past?
Was it not I, the Lord?
And there is no God apart from me,
a righteous God and a Savior;
there is none but me.
22 “Turn to me and be saved,
all you ends of the earth;
for I am God, and there is no other.
23 By myself I have sworn,
my mouth has uttered in all integrity
a word that will not be revoked:
Before me every knee will bow;
by me every tongue will swear.
24 They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone
are deliverance and strength.’”
All who have raged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.
25 But all the descendants of Israel
will find deliverance in the Lord
and will make their boast in him.Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the news of US President, Donald Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

FFK approached the news from a Biblical point of view similar to what most Christians have been saying. He directed anyone who wants to know who the 45th US President is to read Isaiah 45, a prophecy many Christians see Trump fulfilling.

Below is his quote and the Bible Chapter.

The number of cleared contestants stood at nine on Friday afternoon.
The aspirants are Uche Secondus, Gbenga Daniel, Jimi Agbaje, Rashidi Ladoja, Taoheed Adedoja, Tunde Adeniran, Raymond Dokpesi, Aderemi Olusegun and Chief Olabode George, who later withdrew from…

NEWS: Dead Body Falls Out Of Hearse While Turning At Busy Junction

A video has shown the moment a bodybag fell out of a hearse in broad daylight at a busy junction, horrifying onlookers.

A video has shown the moment a motorist has filmed a body bag falling out of the boot of a hearse at a busy junction in New Zealand.

According to Metro UK, the driver was pretty shocked at what he saw at the intersection in Auckland.

Some onlookers have said the body bag surely contained a dead bod. However, undertakers have said that there was no corpse on the gurney but the incident is being investigated.

The driver who witnessed it said: ‘I was a bit shocked really. I heard this noise, and the next thing you know I see the stretcher with the body on it flying through the intersection.’

A worker at a nearby petrol station said it was ‘crazy’ as he saw the driver of the hearse load the body bag back into the vehicle at around 12.45pm yesterday.

Craig Little, managing director of Davis Funerals, has insisted there was no body inside the bag when the video was filmed.

He said: ‘We have a vinyl square pillow to lay people’s head and at the foot-end of that stretcher there is a metal bar that can look like people’s feet.’

Mr Little said the hearse driver was returning to the funeral home on Dominion Rd with an empty body bag but had unfortunately failed to close the boot properly before driving off.

When he accelerated at the intersection, the stretcher fell out. The Funeral Directors Association of New Zealand said the incident was a ‘rare mistake’ which was being investigated by the funeral home.

Chief executive Katrina Shanks said she was adamant that it would not have happened if there was a body inside.

She said: ‘If there was a deceased person that was being transported it would not have happened, as the system would have been different.

‘It can be upsetting to members of the public, the funeral home is looking at it very seriously and that’s all we can do at this stage.

‘Obviously no one wants to lose anything in the middle of an intersection, let alone a stretcher out the back.

‘I know that the company that is involved is looking at their policies and process and implementing additional training on top of what they already do, to ensure that this doesn’t happen again.

‘It was a basic human error, but the most important thing is that we believe it won’t happen again.

‘It was a very unfortunate incident and I know the funeral home is looking at it very seriously.’

It’s not the first time such an incident has been captured on camera in Auckland.

FASHION: Best ideas of ❣✿Ankara mixed with lace dresses✿❣ for your inspiration

Do you think Ankara mixed with lace dresses are lovely? We’ll reveal to you the secrets of combining Ankara fabric and lace, both in everyday and festive attires. Let’s talk about the fashion trends of this season. We can help you to create a gorgeous look.

Ankara mixed with lace dresses

Lace has always been used in making clothes from time immemorial. The first lace fabrics were costly, as all intricate patterns were made by hand. It took the artisans a lot of time to create. Now any fashionista can afford to buy clothes with lace. Depending on the pattern, lace can be used in the creation of both festive and everyday looks.

Ankara mixed with lace dresses

Nigerian fashionistas like to use lace fabric for their outfits. For instance, Ankara and lace combination styles look beautiful. Bright Ankara fabrics with large or small prints and monochrome delicate lace inserts make any attire look more refined and exquisite. Clothing made with lace elements looks very bright and at the same time very feminine and gorgeous.

Often times, lace elements are used in the creation of festive evening dresses and blouses. The classic option is a lace-decorated neckline and sleeves. Any lace fabric can be used here, with any patterns. The textile can be completely translucent and thin like a web. And, on the contrary, it may be dense with a strongly marked lace pattern of floral or abstract design. Everything depends on the woman’s imagination and taste.

The rule for using such lace inserts is the consideration of colour and pattern. The simpler the pattern on the lace, the brighter and lighter the colour of lace fabric should be. And vice versa, large obvious lace pattern work best in calm tones and colours. For especially festive occasions, you can choose lacemdecorated with rhinestones or artificial pearls. Also, it may have embroidery with gold or silver thread. In this case, the fabric texture should be thin and delicate.

Ankara dress with black lace pattern

As for the colour palette, lace inserts in the décolleté area can be of absolutely any colour. You should know that the classic black colour and neutral light beige with sparkles always remain in vogue. For a lace that is black colour, an Ankara fabric of bright colours fits perfectly, for example red, blue, turquoise, and yellow. Lace of light beige colour is perfectly combined with fabric of pastel colours and tones, for example, sand or light-blue.

Ankara dresses in lace

To create an evening dress, you can choose lace in the same colour scheme as the basic attire. But try to adhere to the rule: if the main Ankara fabric is bright, then the lace should be of similar colour in a more subtle tone. If the main Ankara fabric is dull, when choosing a colour for the lace, make sure it is a little brighter.

Ankara lace styles 2017-2018

If you are not afraid to create fascinating looks, you can highlight the décolletage area of the dress or blouse with a completely different colour. For example, a yellow or red lace with a blue base fabric perfectly combined. Fashionable pink lace or powder colours suit better with light blue, ash-gray and brown basic fabric for the season. White lace design complements main fabric of any colour, and make your image more fresh and elegant. Get chic in Ankara gowns.

As for the quantity of lace fabric in the attire, it depends on your preferences. If you like, you can make your complete attire mostly late. Just be sure to choose the right style. If the lace pattern is large, it’s better to sew a gown with a straight silhouette. The sleeves, if they are needed, should be made narrow. If the pattern is small and the fabric is airy, you can sew a flared long or short dress. Its skirt can be flared at the bottom.

For 2017-2018, it’s fashionable to combine different lace types and fabrics in one look. For example, the dress top is made of a thinner and more delicate lace. At the same time, the dress bottom and sleeves can be made of the more dense lace. Just make sure to blend your colours and textures beautifully.

A dress with lace cape

If you want your neck, chest and sleeves of your outfit to be made with lace, it is better to go for softer fabric.. You can even choose to create a beautiful look by making a lace bolero jacket or just a cape to wear with an Ankara style. Keep in mind: if you have a very thin lace, you need to sew an something underneath as a lining for your fabric.

Ankara lace styles

If you don’t like a dress or blouse entirely made of lace, you can use only lace inserts, which is known as the Ankara and lace combo. We have already talked about the classical version of the lace trim at the décolleté (neck/chest) zone. Decorating the neckline with lace gives you a chance to play around with the design. You can go for a round cut, but also a square or triangular, or even an asymmetric cut.

If you go for a complex cut, then then it is better for the rest of the outfit to not be too extreme in design. Remember: the riskier the cut, the more conservative the fabric and vice versa. Often there are also inserts from the lace at the back of your dress. You can even choose to make the back completely with lace fabric. You can also do the same for sleeves and upper torso.

Ankara dress with lace “tail”

As for the skirt or the bottom of the dress, if the cut is straight, you can finish the bottom of the dress with lace, or sew a lace wedge of any size to your liking. You can make several wedges. It all depends on your imagination and taste. If a pattern of the lace insert is large and the colour of the lace is bright, it is better to make one large wedge or insert. However, if a pattern is small, delicate and gentle, then you might want to a couple of lace layers. You can even choose to make them smaller in size. If you sew a dress with a mermaid tale skirt, then you can sew the ‘mermaid tale’ area in complete lace.

Ankara dress with a bright lace pattern

Ankara fabrics are gorgeous and bright. The patterns are also eye-catching. You can show off your fashion sense by adding a little or a lot of lace insert to your outfit to make it pop.

Ankara pleasure look with lace elements

Don’t be afraid to experiment. Combine different textures of fabrics. Create new looks. Adding lace to an otherwise plain Ankara outfit can be that one extra element that takes it from casual to party.

Be creative, beautiful and unforgettable in lace and Ankara combination style!

In conclusion,the concerned lady urged fellow women,rather main chics who are yet to be married officially to refrain from assuming the wife position lest they suffer the same predicament.

''I feel for main chic but her attitude is a no no.Ladies,or should I call you main chics, hii ujinga yenu ya ku act kama bibi to a boychild mtaacha. You come there from Friday umefunga leso,hauchani nywele ati unasugua carpet na milango. I wonder if at the end of the day you have any strength left. It's the reason these slay queens will take away everything from you. Boy child likes what he sees. But again, to the boychild, God is watching you.Btw,slayqueen told me ati mama fua hucome sato .''
