Undoubtedly it has to be Sir Alex Ferguson.
Sir Alexander Chapman "Alex" Ferguson, is a former Scottish football manager and player who managed Manchester United from 1986 to 2013. He is regarded by many players, managers and analysts to be one of the greatest and most successful managers of all time.
Ferguson was appointed manager of Manchester United in November 1986. During his 26 years with Manchester United he won 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two UEFA Champions League titles. He was knighted in the 1999 Queen's Birthday Honors list, for his services to the game.Ferguson is the longest serving manager of Manchester United, having overtaken Sir Matt Busby's record on 19 December 2010. He retired from management at the end of the 2012–13 season, having won the Premier League in his final season.
Here are some stats:

On 8 May 2013, Ferguson announced that he was to retire as manager at the end of the football season, but would remain at the club as a director and club ambassador. The Guardian announced it was the “end of an era”, while former UEFA president Michel Platini said that Ferguson was “a true visionary”. British Prime Minister David Cameron described Ferguson as a “remarkable man in British football”. Manchester United has ever since struggled to find a replacement who could take United to the same heights as Ferguson.Surely we can learn a lot from him.

A lot of people may suggest Sir Alex Ferguson’s name, he is a great manager, no doubt! The best the Premier League has ever seen, but I would like to nominate Carlo Ancelotti, because of his success thought several European Competitions and in different countries.
He has managed top teams like Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea, Juventus, AC Milan and the latest is Bayern Munich. He is the only manager to have won the UEFA Champions League 3 times and has reached the final 4 times. His win percentage increases at every subsequent club, it goes to show that he truly learns from experience. He has managed a mammoth 844 games for 6 clubs and won 15 honours, at 59.7% win percentage.

The answer to this is highly debatable. My personal view is that 2 managers - Sir Alex Ferguson & Jupp Heynckes are the greatest of all time. While everyone knows Sir Alex, Jupp was a great in himself. He took Real Madrid to its 8th and 9th UCL titles. He was responsible for Bayern achieving a treble in 2013–14 season. The striking quality of both these men was thag they promoted a brand of heavily aggressive football which was focussed only on hard work, dedication and training. Their ideas on football can be mirrored in real life. I would end this with a quote from Sir Alex - “Only sissies play for a draw. You are either the better team or the worse team. Thus, you either win or you lose.”
